Here’s another project from December — a project bag for fiber crafts, created for a talented and amazing knitter 🙂🧶 Made with durable waxed canvas in soft grey and green moss fabric (available in my Spoonflower Fabric Shop), and finished with undyed veg-tan leather for a natural, timeless feel. 🌼More projects, patterns, and studio fun coming — it’s going to be a great 2026. 🌼DM me if you have any questions about materials or project bags. The Pattern Story Reconnecting with traditional crafts and methods — knitting, crocheting, sewing, permaculture, gardening, and sourdough — are important to me. The patterns I create are grounded in earthy meanings and slow, intentional making. Green Moss was inspired by the rich green moss of spring. Yes, spring — I love the sound of that word. I’ve been on a social media break, but I had to pop in with some Christmas cheer 🎄 ☃️Screen Printing☃️ Normally, each colour in screenprinting requires its own screen, but this time, I experimented with blending them together. The print had beautiful depth where the colours mixed—though it was tricky to control the palette after a few prints! Still, it was a fun experiment, and I’ll definitely try it again. Bold colours are usually not my go-to choice, but – how satisfying! 🎨✨ Exploring and experimenting are so important for growth, both as an artist and as a person. This week, I dove into bright colors and let myself play. One of my biggest goals moving forward is to try new things, in art and in life! 😊😏 These experiences often bring new inspiration from unexpected places. Dragonflies, honestly, are some of the best little treasures found in the backyard (we had lots this summer). Bringing Nature In 🌿 Summer always flies by too fast, but for my fellow nature lovers, bringing those fresh, outdoorsy vibes indoors is a must—year-round! 🌞🏡 Earlier this summer, I had the joy of designing and printing these gorgeous kitchen towels for a wonderful customer.
